Recognising that new automation technologies can deliver substantial engineering time savings, enhanced maintenance diagnostics and improved efficiencies, Schneider Electric has launched a new personalised automation package to support the Modicon M340 mid range PLC, providing a 'fast track' to gaining the knowledge and confidence required to quickly make a significant difference to automated control systems. 

The new package includes a customised consultation with an application expert, who can advise on any industry 'hot-topics', such as: best programming methods and best practices, communications and connectivity, remote maintenance access to automation equipment, local operator control (HMI control), data logging, networking legacy equipment and motion control. As well as the consultation, the package includes a pre-assembled rig of latest automation equipment - the Modicon M340 PLC with simulator and industry standard IEC 61131-3 compliant automation configuration software (Unity Pro), which will be introduced during the consultation.
