Eplan announces new subscription model for licences

CAE software provider EPLAN is now offering new licences for its products exclusively on a subscription basis. This change will offer more flexibility to companies wishing to benefit from Eplan’s engineering packages who will now be able to do so on more convenient terms. Although the new subscription system is available immediately, both new and current customers can continue to purchase new or additional perpetual licences until the 31st of July 2021.

Manufacturing sectors in the UK and across the world have been going through accelerated changes in the last few months and an unprecedented transformation is in full swing. As a result, the market conditions are changing for everyone. As a forward-thinking enterprise, Eplan is consistently adapting to these changes and offering flexible licensing options for engineering teams.

“For our customers, we are aligning our business 100 per cent towards the future. This ground-breaking decision will pay off for both current and new customers alike”, explained Eplan CEO Sebastian Seitz. “I am certain that benefits like the attractive entry conditions, flexibility regarding the subscription duration, as well as the comprehensive package of new features being introduced with the launch of the coming version of Eplan will enhance our customers’ experience.

Putting customer success at the centre of all its innovations through software development, Eplan aims to boost its customers’ productivity and profitability via efficient engineering. The new subscription model is expected to bring about even more fruitful dialogue with customers in these times of the digital and industrial transformation.

“Close communication forms the basis of success for us and for our customers”, added Ken Christie, Director at Eplan UK. “The new licensing options encourage feedback and information exchange, whilst at the same time furnishing engineering teams with the tools they need for efficient, automated and digitalised practices.”
