Manufacturers gear up for 'Made in the UK'

There are now just five days to go until Made in the UK, the two-day conference, exhibition and awards, which will gather hundreds of businesses to discuss the future of British manufacturing.

The event, which features the largest collection of manufacturing speakers ever gathered by Insider, starts on 21 July at the BT Convention Centre in Liverpool.

In addition 12 manufacturing conferences will highlight innovation and change, and their impact on a specific industry sector's supply chain. Industry leaders will give their insight into their supply chain relating to securing contracts and staying competitive in the next five to ten years.

Finally, each of the winners of the regional Made in... awards will go head to head across nine awards categories, vying to collect the marquee Manufacturer of the Year Award. More than 700 manufacturers will attend this event representing regional award-winners are already confirmed to attend.

Marlen Roberts, managing director of Insider Media, said: "The speakers at each conference will give supply chain companies insight into the very latest initiatives their business and their sector as a whole is adopting.

"Hundreds of manufacturers have already signed up to attend the dinner and conferences - a tremendous achievement for our first ever Made in the UK - but there is still time to secure your place and be part of the action."

The Made in the UK Conference is the ideal opportunity for manufacturing suppliers in a wide range of disciplines to learn about the latest developments and stay ahead of the pack. The event is free to attend but the event is pre-registration only. Find out more here.
