New format for Southern Manufacturing 2015Southern Manufacturing & Electronics returns to FIVE, Farnborough, on February 10th, 11th and 12th 2015. Next year's event will see some significant changes and improvements, including moving to a three-day format for the first time in its twenty year history.
The move to a three-day event, is designed to ease the traffic burden on roads in and out of the site and improve access for those visiting by car. In addition, the 2015 show will feature a different internal layout, designed to improve visitor flow around the venue, together with a number of other improvements including an increase in the number of event stewards on duty.
Following the disruption to the 2014 event caused by the exceptional weather conditions, organiser, European Trade & Exhibition Services (ETES) has been engaged in lengthy negotiations with the show's insurers. Having now concluded these negotiations, ETES has announced that the monies it has received for its claim are to be used in their entirety as a goodwill gesture. Consequently all 2014 exhibitors rebooking for 2015 will receive a credit note equal to 20% of their 2014 stand cost.
Show director Phil Valentine said: "I am delighted to be able to announce this goodwill gesture, which we hope will go some way to showing our appreciation for the patience and support we have received from our valued exhibitors."
