B&R launches new website

The same address, but a new look: B&R has completely revamped their company website at www.br-automation.com. The website uses the latest web technologies, ensuring that it looks good while making it easier to access an extensive library of information regarding technologies, solutions and products. "Our goal was to take the extensive information we have been providing over the years and make it more useful and easier to access," says Stefan Schönegger, manager of marketing at B&R. "Over the years, the Internet has become an extremely important storehouse of information, so keeping up with the times by redesigning the website was an obvious next step for us."

The website is clearly structured and organized. New features such as product comparison and an optimized download area add to its range of services. The original Service Order Portal has been upgraded and now goes by the name of Material Return Portal (MRP). This portal makes it possible to handle repair and service requests quickly and easily. "With the MRP, it is not only possible to trace the progress of processes," explains Schönegger, "all service documents are also available online whenever needed."

In addition to providing extensive information about components offered by B&R, a new "Technologies" section has also been added to the website. Here, customers and other website visitors can find out about technologies that span several industries. This approach demonstrates B&R's commitment to providing extensive support by increasing the amount of information available. If you are looking for information about a specific industry, you can find it in the Industries section. The Industries and Technologies sections will be updated often in the coming months, with many new industries being added.
