Do you want even more power?

Do you want even more power? In answer to demands for even more power, Maxon Motor is now offering a 300 Watt EC 4-pole industrial motor in addition to its original 200 Watt unit. Both options will deliver tremendous torque at low speeds, without the need for a gearhead. What's more, they will do so with quiet sophistication. Despite its 50 percent increase in power rating, the latest brushless DC model comes in a surprisingly light, compact package. Its housing is 155mm long, with a 45mm square cross section, and of course the absence of a gearhead means further savings on size, weight and cost for designers who choose it. To give an idea of the new motor's performance, at 3580 rpm it will supply a constant torque of over 670mNm; and its speed-torque gradient of 0.5 rpm/nNm is four times stronger than that of a comparable 2-pole unit.
