Linear motion package suits clean room tasks

Linear motion package suits clean room tasks
The IEF Werner easyLINE linear motion system from RA Rodriguez has the quality of its materials and manufacture to thank for its clean room classification. This however is a standard product not a special and as such carries no price premium.

Consequently easyLINE has become the product of choice for many involved in automated production in the medical, pharmaceutical and electronics sectors. Now, with increasing demand for complete linear sub-assemblies to reduce installation time, a new easyLINE system has just been introduced. The package comprises the linear axis with toothed belt drive, stepper motor, controller, amplifier software and clamping system. The carriage plate itself utilises four recirculating linear ball bushings to guarantee both high speed and smooth motion.

This new plug-and-play system allows for the easy programming of up to 16 positioning points and provides stroke lengths from 100mm to 5.5m. Positioning speed is 830mm/sec with repeatable accuracy to ±0.05mm. A Profibus or CAN interface is available.
