Ondrives cuts its own gears with precision
Ondrives has introduced a range of in-house manufactured products to its portfolio, including precision gears that have been made to DIN standard DIN3961, with quality Grade 7 accuracy as standard. Further, investment in the latest Swiss CNC gear hobbing machinery means Ondrives is even able to achieve Grade 5 pitch accuracy.
The company says these ranges of gears have been designed around the Gleason Pfauter P90 machines and the precision hobs used to cut them, making quality a top priority and ensuring sizes can be made to exacting standards. or example, spur gears from 0.5Mn up to 3.0Mn module, worms and wheels, helical gears and much more are all available as standard. Specials and modifications are also readily available with both production runs and smaller quantities.
Standard materials available include high quality stainless steel, steel, aluminium, bronze and plastics. Most materials can easily be sourced by Ondrives to suit customers' demands, designs and applications.
