Quarter century milestone for HepcoMotion company

Braintree Precision Components (BPC) reached a huge milestone in September as it celebrated 25 years of trading and manufacturing of bearings. BPC is owned by Hepco Slide Systems and makes all the various sizes and designs of bearings for he company's linear motion systems.

With over 70 employees at the Braintree site, BPC is a major employer in the area and enjoys supporting the local community. Since opening in 1989, BPC has successfully doubled in size and now produces close to two million bearings a year and exports to over 41 countries. The bearings range in size from 13mm to 150mm in diameter.

HepcoMotion chairman, Giles Forster, says: "BPC is a crucial part of our manufacturing chain and is critical to the success of our wider business. With a great team and a rich history, we are happy to publicly celebrate this anniversary. We have even created a special book for each employee commemorating the people and the legacy."
