Ringspann engineers invite MACH visitors to set them a challenge

At MACH 2016 Ringspann is taking a different approach to previous years. Alongside the range of products on display they will have a design engineer on the stand and are inviting people to bring along a component they want to clamp and challenge them to produce a fixture concept on the stand. With over 40 years of experience of producing high quality and repeatable fixtures and the use of parametric design principles they believe they are ideally placed to rise to the challenge.

Using NX9.0 their designers have over many years designed and developed a range of innovative solutions for the clamping of components from all walks of industry including Automotive, Aerospace and Marine. Able to choose from a range of different technologies including the Ringspann disc and patented diaphragm along with Konig hydraulic mandrels and chucks their designers can accommodate the most demanding of requirements.

In recent years this has also included the development of multi-port hydraulic coupling, wireless pressure monitoring and in-fixture load cell with wireless monitoring. Repeatability of better than 5 microns can be achieved for larger diameters exceeding 1200 mm. Their software is capable of accepting most 2D and 3D file formats so why not leave your challenge with them while you take in the show and then return to see if they have designed a tailor-made solution for you.
