Secure, easy to set up remote access

Secure, easy to set up remote access

At the Machine Building Show X-STK|Applied Automation will be showcasing Secomea for truly secure and easy to set up remote access, as well as launching a new integrated WiFi option. Secomea is a leading, secure remote access industrial communications solution for the automation and machine industry. For machine builders and system integrators it is a means of access to a whole host of remote devices including PLCs, HMIs, drives, I/O blocks and even USB and serial devices. The company says it takes just 15 minutes to set up and, as security is a priority, it has been independently certified.

There is no real IT skill requirement, no need for a VPN, a fixed IP address or open ports in firewalls that would worry IT departments. It works over the internet or mobile network, allowing you to connect remotely and securely to a machine for programming, monitoring and data logging. David Rowe, managing director of X-STK Applied Automation says: "Secomea is a really popular product and we're expecting a lot of interest at the Machine Building Show. It's going to be exciting to demonstrate the remote access capabilities by linking to a machine that's situated elsewhere in the NEC, and visitors can then go and see it in action for themselves.
