The reliable industrial dialogue
For those of you still worried that industrial PCs might still be a touch fragile when used on the shop floor, check out the latest entry in the market, designed and manufactured by Omron. Created specifically for operation 24/7 in even the most demanding industrial environments, Omron claims its Dyalox industrial PC is setting new standards in industrial reliability. Omron says it has achieved these high reliability levels by using only the highest industrial grade components and eliminating every source of failure - such as moving parts like hard disks and cooling fans.
Omron has also created unique self-diagnostic hardware and software to ensure that the Dyalox iPCs will keep on running reliably year after year. For maximum user confidence, Omron is backing up the Dyalox with a three year warranty, five years guaranteed delivery, and the assurance of repairs up to seven years after purchase.
Delivered with a special, highly stable, industrialised version of the Windows XP Embedded operating system, the Dyalox iPCs are built around Intel Celeron CPUs. The motherboards are designed and assembled in-house by Omron, so the company is in complete control of the process and not dependent on other motherboard suppliers. This assures, says the company, consistent high quality and means that, in the unlikely event of a failure, it can guarantee a repair within five days in Europe, ensuring minimum disruption to your industrial process.
