Virtual panel event on industrial connectivity – 17 May 2021
Analog Devices is hosting a 60-minute virtual panel discussion between industry experts, exploring the intersection of connectivity and Industry 4.0. It focuses on the themes identified in the recent Forrester study, commissioned by Analog Devices, on the topic of industrial innovation. The virtual event will be held on Monday 17 May at 4:00pm UK time.
Themes for discussion include: the business impact of factory digitisation, the role of connectivity technologies (including both wired and wireless) in the journey for manufacturers seeking to become digital-first, and the need for partnerships to accelerate adoption of digitalisation. Findings from the study will be examined along with expert perspectives.
The industry experts include Professor Conor McCarthy, centre director at the Science Foundation Ireland Research Centre, Paul Miller, principal analyst at Forrester, Richard Toole, partner at Verizon, Martin Cotter, senior vice president at Analog Devices, Dr Greg Henderson, senior vice president at Analog Devices, and Dr Bernhard Eschermann, chief technology officer at ABB.
