Following on from its last guidance on alarms, this latest video from the global specialist in process and temperature control focusses in more detail on the alarm inhibit function.

Known occasionally as output hold, alarm inhibit is a powerful feature. It works by preventing an unwanted alarm activation during process start-up or if the set points change. The video explores the circumstances in which a customer may wish to inhibit the operation of an alarm and provides practical advice on how to do so whilst addressing safety measures.

The short, two-and-a-half-minute video provides essential technical insights from Ian Parnell, European Technical Support Manager at West Control Solutions.
