Another sealing first for M Barnwell Services
In January 2016, M Barnwell Services sales coordinator Steve Gibson received an order to produce the company’s largest ever chevron seal. The hydraulic seal weighed in at 15 kg, and had dimensions of 1270mm by 1320mm by 200mm. The rubberised fabric split seal will be used in an injection moulding machine.
Gibson said: “I have been in the industry for over 30 years, and this is certainly the largest chevron seal I have ever been asked to produce. It certainly has tested our ability to supply fluid sealing products for any application no matter how big or small.”
