Attractive and economic enclosures are halogen-free
Rolec has introduced the technoBOX range of plastic enclosures which have been designed for modern electronics and electrical equipment. These attractive housings include a bevelled lid, clean lines and easy assembly, all at very competitive prices which start at just £11.
The technoBOX range is available in seven standard sizes with external dimensions from 66 x 51 x 35mm to 241 x 161 x 80mm, and is moulded in halogen-free ABS, or on request, polycarbonate. The standard colour is light grey, RAL 7035, and special colours can also be moulded on demand. With a protection class of IP66, and fully insulated to VDE 0100, this range of enclosures is ideal for housing different types of indoor or outdoor industrial electronics and electrical equipment. The lid is recessed to allow easy location of a membrane keypad, front panel or polycarbonate product label.
All internal and external fastening points are compatible with industry standard dimensions. Internal screw pillars can be used for fitting mounting plates, PCBs and terminal assemblies. The sides can also be easily machined for cable glands. Accessories include mounting plates, external mounting brackets, front panels, feet, lid hinges and terminal rails.
Rolec can customise these enclosures with holes and cut-outs, silk-screen printing and much more to provide a fully finished enclosure ready for mounting the components and assemblies.
