Comau and Tecnomatic join forces

Comau has signed a multi-year partnership with Tecnomatic, an Italian automation provider specialized in advanced hairpin stator technologies. Integrating Tecnomatic’s expertise and patented hairpin technology – from prototype co-design and development all the way to the insulation of stator slots and the forming, twisting, and welding of hairpins – within Comau’s comprehensive electrification portfolio allows for a complete offering which encompasses rotor, stator, inverter, transmission assembly, and testing.

Sparrows Group enhances position with SKF lubrication agreement

Sparrows Group has enhanced its position in the US industrial market after securing a key distributor agreement with SKF, one of the world’s largest lubrication system, bearing and seal specialists. As part of the agreement, Sparrows will supply and install lubrication systems as well as provide parts and repair services for SKF’s Lincoln lubrication systems in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Analog Devices and Maxim Integrated Products have announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which ADI will acquire Maxim in an all stock transaction that values the combined enterprise at over $68 billion. The transaction, which was unanimously approved by the Boards of Directors of both companies, will strengthen ADI as an analogue semiconductor leader with increased breadth and scale across multiple attractive end markets.
