Ultrasonic device raises accuracy of re-lubrication of bearings

A unique ultrasonic device, which ‘listens’ to the sound of grease filling a bearing, makes the re-lubrication process more accurate and effective. By overcoming problems associated with over- or under-lubrication, the Ultrasound Lubrication Checker TLGU 10 from SKF can help to extend bearing lifetime. Compact, energy-efficient brushless DC motor for high-speed applications

Portescap has added the 16ECS high-speed brushless motor to its Ultra EC mini brushless DC motor platform. These compact 16mm motors are available in 36 and 52mm lengths and provide high power while running at speeds of 75,000 rpm. The 16ECS is comprised of an enhanced magnetic circuit that reduces iron and recirculation losses which can cause motor stator heating at high speeds.

Siemens Smart Infrastructure has upgraded its range of SSA actuators for small valves by adding new features for more energy efficient and versatile hydronic room applications. The updated SSA actuators now offer more flexibility due to their broad control possibilities - from analogue control to KNX communication capabilities for room solutions and fast integration into connected systems. While using the same cable for communication and power, the customer saves time and cost. Thanks to the operating mode ‘nightmode’, the actuators are more silent than ever, with less than 28 dB. Ruland jaw couplings for servo motors

Zero-backlash jaw couplings from Ruland have high dampening capabilities, can accommodate all forms of misalignment, and are highly customizable. They are well-suited for servo motors that are often used in precise positioning applications found in semiconductor, solar, medical and robotics. Zero-backlash jaw couplings are a three-piece design comprised of two lightweight aluminium hubs and an elastomeric insert “spider.” The spider is available in three durometers: 98 Shore A for the highest torque, 92 Shore A for a balance of stiffness and compliance, and 85 Shore A for the highest dampening capabilities. Inch, metric, keyed, and keyless hubs with clamp or set screw hardware can be combined to fit user shaft requirements.
