TDK Corporation has introduced the 500W rated TDK-Lambda brand CUS500M1 series of AC-DC power supplies. The series is certified to the medical IEC 60601-1 and audio/visual/ITE IEC 62368-1 standards for both Class I or Class II (double insulated) installations. Target applications include medical, home healthcare, dental, test and measurement, broadcast, professional audio and industrial equipment.

Analog Devices" people counting algorithm ensures efficient space utilisation and worker safety

Analog Devices has introduced the ADI EagleEye ADSW4000 PeopleCount algorithm for people detection and count in indoor spaces such as meeting rooms or office cubicles. The ADSW4000 is the first in a series of application-level software algorithms forming part of the ADI EagleEye platform that includes a hardware subsystem based on ADI’s Blackfin embedded digital signal processor (DSP) and a set of application-level software building blocks enabling users to quickly develop their own people counting system.

Igus e-skin flat energy chain with three layers receives cleanroom Class 1 approval

In clean room environments such as laboratories, energy chains required to manage cables and hoses safely must be particle-free. Igus has developed the e-skin flat, an economical alternative to ribbon cables due to its modular design. Proof that the energy supply is particle-free according to ISO Class 1, not only as a single layer but also as a triple-layer ready-to-connect energy chain, was provided by the Fraunhofer cleanroom test.
