Wenglor presents EtherCAT Junction

With its new Junction, Wenglor Sensoric is one of the first manufacturers to succeed in combining EtherCAT with the Power over Ethernet (PoE) operation mode. The Junction provides signal forwarding and power supply in a single unit, thus minimizing wiring and installation expenses.

Compact industrial connectors feature high power ratings

The Han Q 3/0 and Han Q 4/0 are the latest additions to Harting's Han range of industrial connectors in the smallest Han 3A size range. Despite occupying an area measuring only 42 mm_, the new connectors have enough room for three power contacts and a protective earth contact (Han Q 3/0) or four power contacts (Han Q 4/0), giving them the highest power capacity in this compact industrial connector family.

Harting RJ Industrial RJ45 PCB female connector with transformers for 10 Gbit/s

Harting has expanded its Harting RJ Industrial series with new RJ45 female connectors featuring integral transformers for operation at 10 Gbit/s. The highly compact dimensions of these RJ45 connectors enable convenient and simple integration into all established IP 65/67 interface types, from PushPull through to Han 3A.

Global centre of server rack design in Plymouth

At Rittal's UK factory in Plymouth the highest levels of automation are utilised, creating not only an efficient working production plant but also an ideal product showcase and demonstration area. The production line comprises 19 of the latest computer controlled robots with the safe and reliable installation and integration of automation and process instrumentation inside Rittal's own enclosure systems to protect the expensive and sensitive infrastructure. A lot of the machinery used is equipment supplied by Rittal's own customers.

Connectivity and RFID solutions for rail tasks

Harting has added to its range of connectivity and RFID solutions for the rail industry. New products include the Han HC Individual - a new industrial connector family providing flexible contact arrangement options, allowing individually sealed 350 A contacts (to protection class IP 66) to be arranged in configurations with up to ten adjacent connections on one supporting rail. This interface can be very easily separated thanks to a stainless steel lever system with integrated contact guide. Each individual connection can be assembled separately, and engaged and exchanged individually.
