EBM-Papst brings automated tennis machine to Drives & Controls show

EBM-Papst will be returning to Drives & Controls for the 2022 exhibition, demonstrating its latest drive motor technology. In particular, it is bringing the ‘automated tennis machine’ to the show, highlighting the benefits of its compact drives.

The system features four drive motors; two K5 drives that communicate with each other, and two K4 motors that are controlled via digital inputs. These drives are interconnected and are controlled accordingly by sensors. The aim is to demonstrate the versatility and connectivity of the drives. This demonstration focuses mainly on applications in automation; belt drives in manufacturing, for conveying single production components or in general machine-building.
