ETA and Wöhner partner for power distribution solutions
Italian enclosure manufacturer ETA Enclosures and German busbar system specialist Whner have brought their expertise together to offer precision quality products creating power distribution solutions at significant cost savings.
Whner is well established and respected for its range of electrical power distribution systems and ETA has an enviable reputation as a supplier of enclosure solutions with a comprehensive range of standard, ‘modified’ and special enclosures and associated accessories.
With a trend towards ‘one supplier integration’ increasingly customers are specifying enclosure solutions incorporating power distribution systems delivered from a single supplier. The Whner 60mm Classic System is a universal busbar system for control, automation and power distribution with a range from 200A to 2500A. The Whner system uses less space, less trunking and less cable and simple universal adaptors allow for the mounting of control equipment directly onto the busbar system.
The system focuses on allowing the quick and simple connection of components without the drilling of the copper conductors. A simple ‘snap-fit’ connection ensures a safe and reliable connection of 1.5mm2 to 300mm2 conductors, fuse holders, motor control devices or circuit breakers through to 630A.
The flexibility of the system means the end user is able to engineer a solution to meet any requirement where power is to be distributed safely. Full system shrouding ensures user safety in all applications.
