The 'breath of life' for the inflatable Channel 4 logo outside the company's Horseferry headquarters is provided by nine blowers supplied by Air Control Industries, Axminster.
The artistic structure, called 'Time to breathe' by Hannah Gourlay, was fabricated by Architen of Chepstow as part of Channel 4's 'Big Art' project.
It is designed to replicate the intake and exhaling of breathing and is intended to encourage passers-by to stop and take time out from their busy lives to 'breathe' as they study the exhibit.
In addition to supplying delivery/exhaust solutions to industry, ACI has extensive experience of working with companies specialising in inflated structures. For this project ACI has supplied various products from the company's centrifugal fan range, including its VBW6/VBL6 models.
