Hall-effect foot pedal controller
Feteris Components has a new generation foot pedal controller, the H80FCL, that can be used for speed control and rudder control on vehicles, limit robots, medical devices, construction machinery, and other equipment.
It employs a Hall Effect contactless position transducer to detect foot pedal motion. This technology comes with a much lower price tag than conventional potentiometric footpedals, and as it is non-contact has a life of over 2 million cycles.
