Harting M12 with conduit still better protected

Harting has introduced a new version of its established M12 connector with a conduit which provides the attached cable with additional protection against external influences, making it ideally suited to tough applications in industrial scenarios.

>The new "M12 with conduit" solution offers IP protection class 65/67, and can be readily applied in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +85°C. In addition, the standard housing now accommodates plastic tubing of a nominal 10 mm width, providing customers with the option of adding further protection by simply fitting a plastic tube.

>The connector and the associated cable are joined with a reliable crimping method, and can be supplied either in 4-pole (d-coding) or 5-pole (a-coding) configurations, both as plug or socket. In order to achieve the corresponding protection classes and provide strain relief, seals for various cable diameters from 4.5 to 8.8 mm are included in the package.
