Harting RJ Industrial MultiFeature series is now even easier to assemble
Harting presents the RJ Industrial MultiFeature series, an RJ industrial interface which the company says is now significantly easier to assemble in the field as it no longer requires a separate tool.
With the RJ Industrial in the new MultiFeature series, Harting says it is meeting customers’ wishes and requirements for simpler operation and field assembly capability. The continued development of the successful RJ Industrial standard now offers tool-free assembly, easier use and a robust metal housing. An additional area of application for AWG 26 to AWG 22 stranded wires, along with robust cable fixation, are features that simplify fitting and improve installation.
As the classic RJ45 was developed for telecommunications, it did not always meet the demands of the industrial sector. The Harting RJ Industrial MultiFeature series is designed specifically to resist all the difficulties posed by harsh environments. Safe Cat. 6A performance and IP20 and IP65/67 housing paired with PoE power supply variants IEEE802.3af (PoE 15.4W) / IEEE802.3at (PoE 25.5W) / IEEE802.3bt (PoE 100W) provides data and power for every device.
The robust metal housing provides a reliable Ethernet connection and is suitable for industrial markets thanks to its metal locking and tough strain relief. This consistent development progress has simplified the interface that has proven its worth a million times over.
