High top versions added to enclosures range
OKW has extended its Railtec C DIN rail enclosures range with a new high top version. High top Railtec C is suitable for applications including automation, building and safety, HVAC, timers, sensors, relays, lighting controls, subrack interfaces, modules, amplifiers and transformers.
Enclosures lock quickly and easily on to TH35 rails. They are available with a closed or an open front, which has easily removable ridges to give stability during transport.
Both versions feature two sides open for connections. They can accommodate up to four terminal guards (available as accessories). There are fastening pillars in the bottom section plus guides for installing PCBs. Case parts snap together for easy assembly.
High top Railtec C is available in one size: six modules wide (107 x 90 x 114 mm). It is moulded from light grey polycarbonate (UL 94 V-0). Prices start at £13. Accessories include 2-pin, 5-pin and 9-pin plug headers; a 9-pin terminal block; terminal guards (either closed, perforated or with 5, 6 or 9 holes) plus front panels in light grey opaque, transparent and red or smoked grey translucent polycarbonate.
There is also the Railtec-Bus system which enables fast and easy linking of DIN rail enclosures that share the same power and signal connections. This system comprises a bus PCB, support profiles, cover, end caps and PCB/BUS connection blocks.
Customisation options for high top Railtec C include EMC shielding, machining, lacquering, screen/tampo and digital printing of legends and logos, installation and assembly, display windows, adhesive foils plus plastic and aluminium panels.
