Industrial connector hood offers flexible handling
A new hood whose geometry allows a wide range of cable sizes with flexible handling has been added to the Harting Han B industrial connector range.
>The shape of the housing makes it possible to implement a cable gland up to M50 in size 16B, which exceeds the maximum previously available. This allows the cable outlet to be on the side or at the top. The new housing is locked with the established Han-Easy Lock levers, which feature easy handling and a low actuating force.
>A version with an M40 cable entry is also available. The design of this product allows a large wiring space, which in turn ensures simplified, faster and consequently more economical installation for the customer. When the new hood is used with a Han B bottom housing, IP 65 protection is achieved.
>When combined with Harting's wide range of standard contact inserts, these Han B products cover the complete range of industrial requirements for professional connection technology.
