Interroll and the Sauber Formula 1 continue their partnership
Interroll will remain a close partner of the Sauber Formula 1 (F1) team in the future: The Swiss racing team and Interroll announced today that they have signed an agreement extending their existing partnership. The collaboration between the two organizations is based on their mutual desire to be international leaders when it comes to quality, efficiency and innovation.
“This agreement sees us continuing our successful partnership with the Sauber F1 team, a partnership which was first established in 2012,” explains Jens Karolyi, Senior Vice President of Corporate Marketing and Culture and a member of Interroll’s Executive Board. “Like Sauber, Interroll is a global brand that combines comprehensive technological expertise with unrivaled dedication. We firmly believe that the Sauber F1 team is well placed for the upcoming season and that its hard work will pay off. We wish drivers Marcus Ericsson and Pascal Wehrlein, who is new to the team, the very best of luck for a successful season.”
Monisha Kaltenborn, team principle for the Sauber F1 team, says: “We are very pleased to be able to continue our close collaboration with Interroll. As an international sporting event, Formula 1 is dependent upon reliable and precise logistics processes across the globe. We therefore know how significant a role Interroll plays as a global leader specializing in materials-handling technology for shipping firms, airports, the food industry and other sectors. Just as in Formula 1, these are decisive factors for quality, the capacity for innovation and flexibility.”
Since 2012, the partnership with the Sauber F1 team and the considerable attention this racing series attracts have contributed significantly to Interroll’s ongoing process of internationalizing its business activities. In addition to regular communication initiatives and client events, both organizations routinely seek to exchange experiences regarding innovation management, process optimization and how to increase efficiency.
