Interroll expands the performance range of its synchronous drum motors
Interroll has unveiled what it claims is the world’s most powerful synchronous drum motor for belt conveyor systems, offering an output of 1.8 kilowatts. With the new drive, which meets the highest hygiene requirements, dynamic and automated material flow solutions can be implemented very economically to transport an even more comprehensive range of goods via a single conveyor system.
The new DM 0138 synchronous drum motor extends Interroll’s proven range of high-performance synchronous motors upwards to open up new applications for customers and users, particularly in highly dynamic logistics centers and in the food industry. Like the existing DM 0080 and DM 0113 series, the new DM 0138 offers maximum acceleration and braking performance with very low energy consumption and the ability to precisely position conveyed goods on a system without the use of additional sensors.
