MachineBuilding.Live, organised by The Engineering Network (TEN), has entered into a strategic partnership with the Calderdale and Kirklees Manufacturing Alliance (CKMA), strengthening ties between regional manufacturers and the UK's wider engineering community.
The partnership will provide CKMA members with direct access to the UK's leading event for automation, machine building, and systems integration. It will also create new opportunities for manufacturers across West Yorkshire to showcase their expertise, explore the latest technologies, and form valuable connections with suppliers and partners from across the country.
Neil Kendall, Chair of CKMA, said: "We at CKMA are really pleased to be partnering with The Engineering Network to promote, showcase and support the breadth and depth of ingenuity we have in the UK. We are looking forward to working together with our members and supporters to help rebuild and modernise our industrial capacity and create wealth, employment and regeneration, and instil once again a sense of pride in British manufacturing."
Luke Webster, Managing Director of The Engineering Network, added: "Partnering with CKMA is an exciting opportunity to bring a strong regional manufacturing voice to a national platform. By working together, we can help ensure that the UK's vibrant SME community gets the recognition, resources, and connections it deserves to thrive in a fast-changing industry."
The collaboration highlights the growing role of regional alliances in supporting the resilience and competitiveness of UK manufacturing. By linking CKMA's extensive network with MachineBuilding.Live, the partnership will accelerate knowledge sharing, encourage supply chain collaboration, and support the UK's ambition to build a more sustainable industrial base.
