Maxon video explains motor's mechanical performance considerations
Analysing the contained within a typical product datasheet can be a challenging task for the design engineer. But it's crucial information nonetheless, particularly when it comes to motors, with the typical datasheet giving comprehensive information about voltage, nominal speed, current, torque, dimensions, thermal data, ball bearings and much more. Understanding the datasheet can help you in choosing the right product for a given application.
To guide you through it all, Maxon has produced a new series of videos, presented by technical engineer Ronak Samani. In part 1, he looks at the aspects of the data relating to the mechanical performance of the motor.
