New LiDAR platform for next generation Leddar modules
LeddarVu is an advanced platform that combines the benefits of a very compact, modular architecture with superior performance, robustness and cost efficiency towards high resolution LiDAR applications. Leveraging LeddarTech’s advanced, patented signal processing and algorithms, LeddarVu sensors will evolve along with the future generations of the LeddarCore ICs.
The Vu8, first off-the-shelf module developed on the LeddarVu platform, is an 8-segment sensor that can detect several objects up to 215m. Weighting only 107g, it uses an eye-safe, fixed laser light source, which significantly increases the sensor’s robustness and cost-efficiency.
