Plastic bearings do work in heavy duty environments

Can plastic bearings be successful in tough environments such as HGV applications? Igus says they can, and in this video the iglidur bearings that are regularly used within various points on lorries are highlighted.

It just goes to show that small plastic bearings really can perform in huge industrial vehicles.
