Pocket-sized innovation
The SOFT-CASE series is the latest innovation from OKW.These ergonomically shaped, and highly tactile, hand-held enclosures have been designed to house the latest pocket size electronics. Typical applications will include measurement and digital control devices wireless or with cable connections, medical and laboratory equipment and peripherals and interfaces.
The SOFT-CASES can easily accommodate electronic devices with wide format LCDs or keypads. The top part has a wide recessed area for locating the display or membrane keypad, and a raised panel on the long edge of the base part is designed for fitting a series of connectors i.e. USB, power, serial etc.
These cases are moulded ABS (UL 94 HB) in off-white, RAL 9002, and have external dimensions of 105 mm x 65 mm x 19 mm. Two models are offered, with or without a battery compartment for two 1.5V AAA cells.
