The  fast  and safe testing of high voltages up to 5kV AC and 6kV DC is provided by the portable bench-top Sentinel HiPot/flash/dielectric tester now available from Clare Instruments. Product features one touch testing, selectable ramp and dwell periods  for accurate test control. Safe programmable test sequences are provided by the inclusion of an arc  detection feature capable of monitoring low energy discharges in equipment under test.
