Parvalux has introduced the PM7, 8 and 9 – a compact, versatile and powerful range of permanent magnet DC motors. The new motors extend the rating of the popular PM range to cover lower rated applications from 7.5 to 80W (intermittent duty). One of the great strengths of the Parvalux range is the huge choice of gearbox options which, for the PM 7, 8 and 9 motors include single reduction worm gear, double reduction worm, in-line double reduction and multi-spur. There is also a choice of gear materials with composite gears for quiet running or bronze for higher output torques. The die-cast gearboxes feature ball bearings and, being lubricated for life, are completely maintenance-free.
