Tapeswitch bespoke sensing edges enhance RoviMo

Developed to meet the highest standards of professional football club training pitches, the RoviMo autonomous mower is engineered to deliver perfect pitch presentation, with flawless straight lines achieved without the need for stringing guidelines.

Operating in compliance with official UEFA regulations, the mower has different functions so it is able to cut the grass in a range of specific patterns. The 100% electric mower runs for up to 8 hours without emitting CO2, operating almost silently, with no need for fuel or hydraulic oil, significantly reducing operating costs and the risk of leaks that can damage turf.

Launching the latest model, Wessex International worked closely with Tapeswitch to design a bespoke sensing edge in a continuous curve, wrapped around the mower, which cuts power to the motor on contact with any object.

Combining Tapeswitch's signature ribbon switch technology inside a durable Santoprene sensing edge profile and a failsafe control system, the tailored solution provides increased machine aesthetics with proven functionality.
