With their charging power of up to 125 kW, the new CCS charging cables for the type 1 charging standard are suitable for smaller DC charging stations and DC home chargers. With their ergonomic design and compact dimensions, they are consistently designed for fleet solutions and applications in the public and commercial sector.

The sealing concept of the DC charging connector ensures convenient and safe outdoor use, as well as increased cable flexibility, which improves handling, especially in cold weather. The integrated temperature sensor technology enables precise temperature measurement at the power contacts of the DC charging connector - the DC charging process can thus be interrupted in the event of overheating to protect the user from danger and the charging station from damage.

With this addition to the product family, Phoenix Contact facilitates the expansion of intelligent and networked charging infrastructure: Charx connect compact supports vehicle-to-grid (V2G) and vehicle-to-home (V2H) applications, thereby enabling the efficient use of renewable energy.
