V-belts transmit even more power
The raw-edged V-belts from the ContiTech Power Transmission Group now transmit even more power. Thanks to a new production process, the company has increased the performance of the CONTI-V FO-ADVANCE heavy-duty V-belts by up to 15%. The belts realise drive solutions in many industrial applications, for example in machine and systems constructions, ventilation technology as well as in pumps and compressors.
>With the new belts, the drives will be more cost-efficient. "We are able to transmit more power using the same space or the same power in a smaller installation space," explains Dirk Bartsch-Kuszewski, head of application engineering at the ContiTech Power Transmission Group. There are other advantages, too. The belts show even better consistency in sets, they enter the pulley very precisely and generally run more smoothly.
