Windows CE panels give precise visualisation
As production machinery becomes more complex, it is important to have a human-machine interface that is safe and easy to use, as operators need to keep track of their plant at all times. Lenze's EL100 series of HMIs meet the needs of applications requiring the higher level of flexibility and functionality offered by the Windows CE operating system. The series also features a visualisation system specifically adapted to the hardware - VisiWinNet Smart.
With display sizes ranging from 5.7in to 10.4in and integrated VisiWinNet visualisation, these Windows CE panels are cost effective and powerful devices for operating and monitoring. The Windows CE operating system provides functions similar to those offered by a PC. They are compact with a flexible graphical user interface and available as touchscreens.
All the EL100 HMIs are fitted with tried-and-tested IPC standard interfaces. These offer a number of possibilities for communication with master controls and, of course, for integration into the Lenze L-force portfolio of products. As well as standard CANbus, other interfaces such as MPI and RS232 are available. Furthermore Ethernet, USB A and USB B interfaces facilitate industry standard communication with higher-level PCs and allow for the connection of additional disc drives, printers, keyboards or other communication media.
