ABB electromagnetic stirrer to enhance efficiency and sustainability

ABB has secured an order from Colakoglu Metalurji for an ArcSave electromagnetic stirrer (EMS) to be installed on one of the world's largest electric arc furnaces (EAF). The project in Turkiye represents a step forward in Colakoglu Metalurji's journey to enhanced efficiency, sustainability and operational safety in their steelmaking processes.

WEG integrated drives support critical energy infrastructure project

WEG will support the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) in creating a critical oil pipeline. WEG's integrated drive package, including flameproof electric motors, variable speed drives (VSDs) and transformers, will help maximise the efficiency, reliability and safety of the horizontal centrifugal pumps underpinning the infrastructure.
