New cable junction box enclosure provides fire protection for tunnels

Industrial enclosure specialist, Spelsberg, has released a new version of its fire protection enclosures for use in tunnels and similar environments. The new WKE 6 T cable connection and junction box has been designed to withstand forces specific to tunnel environments. Like other enclosures in Spelsberg’s WKE Lifeline range, they also ensure functional integrity for up to 90 minutes in the event of a fire. The enclosures can connect cables with up to 16mm² cross sections.

Accurate multiaxis linear actuator system saves OEMs time in installation

Linear motion control specialist, Tolomatic, has released a new multiaxis actuator system, providing rigidity and accuracy for OEM machine designs. Available from Inmoco, the two- or three-axis Twin Rail Stage (TRS) is an enclosed design, profiled rail actuator system, saving assembly time for OEMs that require multiaxis linear motion. TRS enables precise control with a choice of roller nut or ball nut. Tolomatic says the actuator includes features that provide long service life.
