Brushed pancake motor from PMW drives ultraprecise rotary table

A high accuracy brushed pancake motor from Printed Motor Works is being used in a new ultraprecise rotary table developed by metrology manufacturer Rotary Precision Instruments. The printed armature motor needed to be extremely smooth-running to deliver the angular precision needed for the inspection of critical components such as turbine rotors.

24V DC 20A DIN rail mount buffer module has a narrow 49mm width

TDK-Lambda says its DBM20 DIN rail mount 24V 20A buffer module is ideal for providing short term hold-up or peak power for loads connected to a 24V DC output AC-DC power supply. It can supply an additional 250ms hold-up at 448W output power, or 2s with a 2.5A load. The extended hold-up time allows equipment to safely shutdown and avoid data loss during AC power interruptions. Applications for the module include industrial automation, robotics and semiconductor fabrication equipment.

Pressure sensors from Variohm have type-approval for hydrogen generation, storage and transport

With the launch of its new EPT31H2 and SMO31H2 series pressure sensors, Variohm EuroSensor has attained the European type-approval standards required for safe measurement and monitoring on high-pressure hydrogen generation, storage and transportation systems up to 700 bar – as well as fulfil automotive industry approval for the lower pressure ranges required for hydrogen fuel-cell powered vehicles. Both new H2 model lines meet the EC79/2009 and EC406/2010 type-approvals for hydrogen processing and storage systems whilst the SMO31H2 also has European E1 automotive type-approval making it suitable for mobile pressure monitoring applications on cars, buses and trucks etc.
