>The Skills Show is the largest skills and careers event in the UK,  celebrating the best in apprenticeships, employer training and further education that the UK has to offer. The exhibition highlights the vital importance of skills to economic growth, and will include a range of competitions, 'Have a Go' activities, spotlight features, careers advice and a conference and seminar programme. The event takes place this year at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, from 15-17 November.

>Brammer will be attending the exhibition with its innovative Mobile Centre of Excellence, which will showcase the company's unique product and service offering to visitors. Containing interactive demonstration rigs, the Mobile Centre of Excellence enables Brammer to highlight technological innovation and specialist expertise in a number of key product application areas.

>Kevin Lacey, Marketing and Growth Director at Brammer, commented: "Knowledge, skills and expertise are vital to economic growth in the UK and key to achieving this is the promotion of manufacturing as a rewarding career path. The Skills Show is an important event for showcasing the very best the country has to offer in terms of apprenticeships, employer training and further education, which is why we are backing it through sponsorship.

>"We are committed to improving the vocational skills of younger people through practical learning, in order to teach the valuable skills that they can use in real working environments. Investing in skills growth now will ensure we are laying the foundations for success in UK manufacturing for years to come, helping to keep the UK economy competitive in increasingly challenging global markets."
