Advanced Adhesives has been awarded for Excellence in Supply and Service at the British Adhesive and Sealants Association (BASA) Awards 2024. The company also received a nomination for a second award for a member of its team, Hayley Martin, for Young Achiever of the Year.
"We were delighted to have won the company award, Excellence in Supply and Service for recognition of industry leadership, innovation and excellence," says Graham Crozier, technical director at Advanced Adhesives. "Recognition from our industry body, BASA, is everything, but in truth, it is only a reflection of the cornerstones of our business philosophy since day one.
"Our company growth over the years has come through continually being challenged by our customers, developing new adhesives to match the demands of new materials and new manufacturing processes. Our unique customer focus and our in-house Adhesive Applications Centre give us the edge in this area. This award is in recognition of almost 30 years of customer commitment, and we are dearly proud to be awarded this award."
Hayley Martin's nomination as Young Achiever, and although she didn't win Crozier says the nomination was an achievement in itself. "The company has always wanted to give opportunities for new employees to develop and grow within the business and we will continue with this ethos as we feel it is important to grow young talent."
Established in 1996, Advanced Adhesives can demonstrate its commitment excellence through no less than 43 internationally recognised sector specific accreditations. The company has also been ISO 9001 for over 20 years and ISO 14001 for 16 years.
