IP52 AMRs offer increased ability withstand dust and fluids

IP52 AMRs offer increased ability withstand dust and fluids

Two new additions to the RARUK Automation MiR range of autonomous mobile robots are the first IP52 rated AMRs on the market, giving them increased ability to withstand dust particles and fluids. This allows them to be used in more challenging environments such as areas close to open, weather-exposed docking gates. Both AMRs – the MiR600 and MiR1350 – are also compliant with the highest safety standards, ISO3691-4. The company claims this attribute, combined with the new IP52 design, makes these models the safest, most stable, flexible and reliable AMRs currently available.

Weld immune inductives improve performance and longevity

Weld immune inductives improve performance and longevity

Contrinex’s weld-immune inductive proximity sensors incorporate three features that the company says enables them to offer the best performance and longevity, whilst being able to withstand high-intensity magnetic fields. The first is ‘chip-immunity’ which enables the sensor to continue to work reliably even when its front face has collected weld-spatter.

Cartridge valve sets standards in terms of power density and performance

Cartridge valve sets standards in terms of power density and performance

Parker Hannifin has introduced a 2-way servo proportional valve as part of its TFP series, pioneering a new generation of cartridge valves. With the company’s patented VCD actuator technology, the innovative design of sleeve and spool allows for previously unattainable flow and pressure drop values. The improved efficiency, compared to regular cartridge throttle valves, enables the use of smaller nominal sizes with the same output – and thus reduces the size requirements of the control manifold blocks.
