Boldman has worked with BAE Systems Marine at Barrow on a number of high profile projects. Boldman designed, manufactured and installed bespoke welding cells and protected work areas in the company's new Astute pipe shop fabrication area. Each cell was required to have local craneage to handle loads of up to 75kgs. Manufactured from a range of specially designed aluminium profiles and fittings, the enclosures and cells were constructed using various infill panels, welding screens and welding curtains to the front and sides of the cells provide total safety to operators and observers, both in and out of the cells.
