Cleaner, safer, more productive workshops

Filtermist’s extensive air filtration and extraction expertise includes the effective removal of oil mist, dust, smoke and fume, and its recent acquisition of Multi Fan Systems means it is also able to offer VOC Abatement, Evaporative Cooling, Ventilation and Cooling, Production Waste Extraction, Vacuum Cleaning and Conveying services. 

Both Filtermist and Multi Fan Systems have significant experience in all aspects of centralised extraction systems – from initial site audits and recommendations, to design, equipment supply, installation, commissioning and after-sales support.

The company, part of the Swedish Absolent Group, will also be showcasing its dedicated LEV (local exhaust ventilation) testing service. Filtermist’s P601 certified LEV Engineers provide CoSHH compliant LEV testing for all makes and models of LEV system - ensuring customers remain compliant with CoSHH regulation 9.2 which requires all LEV systems to be tested by a competent person at least once every 14 months.

Operating division Direct Filtration will also feature on the Filtermist stand to show Southern Manufacturing visitors how using the right type of process fluid filtration can bring a number of benefits. From improving coolant life and reducing downtime, to keeping the working environment clean and reducing costs – Direct Filtration’s experts will be on hand to impart potentially valuable advice.

And last, but by no means least, Filtermist’s stand will also include a selection of items from its Coolant Control range. Lengthen tool life, maintain quality and ensure a safer workplace with products including coolant delivery systems from Loc-Line and Piranha-Cooling Line – designed to withstand coolant pressures of over 5 bar.
