Compact yet powerful servo drive for robotics applications
Motion Control Products has introduced what it claims is the world’s smallest servo drive to the UK market. The Everest XCR is manufactured in Spain by Ingenia, who provide state-of-the-art motion control technology that can be tailored to the specific needs of each application.
Everest XCR is an ultra-compact, super smart, high-powered servo drive. Thanks to its small size and rugged design it can be mounted virtually anywhere: collaborative robot joints, wearable robots, unmanned ground or aerial vehicles as well as inside motors. Everest, however, is not only a servo drive. Everest also features the most advanced transistor technology in the world with the highest power density and efficiency while keeping negligible EMI and providing linear amplifier performance. With the current up to 60A and up to 85vdc inputs, it can offer the power up to 5kW.
